The Chinese Martial Arts Championship Worldwide Circuit is a national and international circuit of Chinese Kung Fu tournaments with a unified set of rules, standardized judging criteria, and an integrated rating system. It was developed by Master Nick Scrima with the advice and support of many leading masters of the Chinese martial arts community, in order to elevate Kung Fu tournaments to a new standard.
Starting with his first Kung Fu tournament in Ohio, the Great Lakes Kung Fu Championship in 1992 (one of first all-Chinese martial arts tournaments in North America), Master Scrima has continued to promote friendly competition and good sportsmanship in Kung Fu tournaments nationwide. He organizes the annual International Chinese Martial Arts Championship (now in its 11th year) in Orlando, Florida. This tournament, begun in 1998, is regarded as one of the largest and most prestigious CMA competitions in North America; over the years, teams from more than two dozen countries have participated. In addition, the most distinguished and recognized masters of Chinese martial arts worldwide have taken part in this event.

Besides his event in Orlando, Master Scrima organizes and promotes each of the other major Kung Fu tournaments in the worldwide circuit with other leading masters of the CMA community. Their goal is to expand the level of skill and significantly increase participation in these tournaments by providing first-class venues, outstanding awards, top flight judging and a spirit of friendship to the Chinese Martial Arts Championship Circuit.
Inside Kung-Fu Magazine, the oldest and largest Chinese martial arts publication in the West, will have monthly updates and features regarding upcoming events. In addition, competition results and point standings will be regularly posted in the magazine.
We are committed to expanding the Chinese Martial Championship Circuit and already have an extensive schedule planned for 2010. We encourage every enthusiast of CMA to become a part of the movement; please visit the Join the Circuit page for more detailed information.
