Began Martial Arts training under Master Donald Veira in Bermuda and moved 1970 to Chicago Illinois U.S.A. until 1973

1973-1977

Chinese Kung Fu/ Tai Chi/ Chi Kung under Master Gin Foon Mark and Sifu Robert Mack in China Town New York and New Jersey branch in Newark. N.J.  U.S.A.

1977-1981

Chinese Kung Fu Wushu and Chi Kung under Grand Master Alan Lee and Master Barry Gray in Newark New Jersey U.S.A.

1981-1985

Northern Shaolin Academy under Sifu Sterling Richardson and Master Danny Roy McEaddy Tai  Chi/ Kung Fu/ Chi – Kung / Pressure Point, Philadelphia Pennsylvania Branch and Newark Branch U.S.A.

1981-1983

Master Mantak Chia in China Town New York studied Taoist Mediation, Chi Kung, Tai-chi, Healing Sounds, Iron shirt, Seminal and Ovarian Sexual disciplines.

1985-1987

Studied Tai-Chi Combat and Iron Palm under Master James Fain Newark New Jersey.

1987

Moved to Bermuda and opened Tai-Chi and Kung Fu Institute in Hamilton, Warwick, St Georges, Somerset , Bermuda.

1990

Produced Bermuda’s first Instructional Video Tai-Chi made simple, also taught Tai-Chi for (2) years on T.V every week on the Bermuda sunrise Show Channel 11 Cable 4.

The Summers of 1991-1994 attended training in Tai-Chi, Chi- Kung, Meditation Seminars and Workshops/ Technical  training at Master Jou Tsungs’Hwa Tai-Chi farm upstate New York New Milford with Dr. Yang, Master B.P. Chan, Master Jou Tsung Hwa.

1992-1994

Taught Tai-Chi and Kung Fu at Sandy’s Secondary School Scotts Hill Road Somerset Bermuda.

1994

Moved to Tobago West Indies and opened a Tai-chi Institute January 1995. Later that year opened branches in Trinidad North, East, South and West. Port of Spain, San Fernando, Chaguanas, West Moorings, Arima.

1996

Became member of The Chinese Association in San Fernando Chinese Arts and Culture Studies Society under Maria Lee there I learned Lion and Dragon Dance, Percussion etc. I was made executive member and public Relations Officer 2005 and still active.

1997-2001

Taught Tai –Chi at Langmore Health Foundation under Dr. Harry collymore.

1998

December 12th

Received 1st and 2nd degree awards from Grand Master Barry Gray U.S.A.

1998-2005

Hosted Four (4) Martial Art championships in Trinidad and Tobago.

1998

The Independent Newspaper Featured Rahman Khabir and Professor Don Jacob as best demonstrators at Purple Dragon’s Oriental Martial Arts extravaganza. Full page article bending spear with iron throat

1999

Inducted into U.S.A. Hall of Fame in Newark New Jersey.

2000

Received Instructor of the year Award from Black Hawks National Children Martial Arts programme International.

2003

May 31st

Completed Science of coaching (15) week course with Trinidad and Tobago Olympic committee.

2005

Best Demonstrator Award at Caracas Venezuela Great South American Tai-Chi Cup Championship.

1997-2006

Every Easter taught workshops in Barbados Christ Church, St. Lucy, St. Philip, and Bridgetown.

1997-2006

Taught Workshops in St Lucia Castries, Vieux Fort etc.

2001

Received 2nd Hall of Fame Award Atlantic City New Jersey c/o Action Martial Arts Magazine U.S.A.

2003 and 2005

Received 3rd and 4th Hall of Fame Awards by the same organization, I was also Caribbean reporter for the magazine from 2000-2005.

2002-2005

 Appeared on National T.V. (3) times a week teaching Tai-Chi/ Chi –Kung on Fit for life programme Ch. 2.

2002

Produced Instructional DVD/VHS Video on Tai-Chi also won (2) Gold Medals at the Pan American Championships in Merida Venezuela.

2006

Opened a Tai Chi and Kung Fu section to the Clifton Sealy’s College of Martial Arts in St.Lucia.

2006

November 16th

Taught Seminars and workshops at the Bermuda Arts and Fitness Martial Arts Festival in Bermuda and (10) days later conducted seminars and workshops at the Black Belt University of Martial Arts in Washington D.C. U.S.A.

2006-2007

Ongoing T.V. programme every Wednesday 2.pm and 7pm Ch 4 Tai –chi and Chi Kung along with co-host Dr. Lionel Gaskin Mayers Chinese Medicine Trinidad and Tobago.

2003

Taught Tai Chi in England and raised funds for Charity for the Great Almonds Children’s hospital in London.

2004

Led a (13) member team from Trinidad to Virginia U.S.A Pan America Championships and won (13) medals. Tai-Chi/ Kung Fu.

2006

Led a (17) member team from Trinidad to win (20) medals at the Pan America Championships in Toronto Canada.

2007

June 9th

Won (2) Large trophies for the Senior Black Belt Divisions of the Tiger Claw International Championships in Trinidad weapons division / open hand divisions celebrating my 55th birthday June 17th 2007.
