Waiver
The ICMAC Oslo Wushu Open take no responsibility for lost items or other unfortunate incidents during the events. Please note that categories with too few athletes will be merged with other related categories.
Media
Please note that photos and videos from this event will be used for marketing and media on various websites and in local newspapers. All competitors will be recorded by the Oslo Wushu Open Organizing Committee and it's open for both commercial and private recordings during the event.
Professional Martial Arts photographer Carl Celius will be the official event photographer and his photos will be uploaded at www.kampsportforalle.no. Commercial use of these photos only upon arrangement with Carl Celius and private use only with referral to www.kampsportforalle.no.
There are no limitations for photos and recordings during the event, but for our competitors comfort and safety we strongly recommend to not use flash while taking photos during the competition.
Rules
The competition will be arranged on rhythmic gymnastics carpets over hardwood floor.
1999 set of IWuF rules will apply for both modern, traditional and internal taolu categories. For modern Taolu both optional and compulsory forms is allowed but there will be no marks for Nandu.
All categories, competitors and scores will be announced on big screen in the arena. All competition results will be included in the ICMAC world wide ranking system, see
www.kungfuchampionship.com for more information.
CWA trial rules for fixed step Tuishou (pushing hands) will be implemented:
- 2 x 1 minute rounds
- The rounds start with 3 circular movements
- 3 points for throwing opponent on the ground while standing
- 2 points for landing on top of opponent after throw or opponent moving both feet
- 1 point for opponent moving one foot or touching one hand on the ground
Judges
There will be licensed judges from China, Norway and Sweden at this event. The head judge will be former professional athlete Yan Fei (6th duan) from Henan province assisted by competition organizer Kim Gibson.
Any interested European or International grade judge may also be considered upon request. The organizing committee will pay for hotel expenses, breakfast and lunch for visiting judges.
