Seminar: Reality Based Self-Defense...
Sunday: 8:00am to 9:00am
Reality based self defense is one of the most important aspect of our martial arts training, as most if not all of us enter the martial arts to be able to learn to defend ourselves. Therefore, while we may study forms (weapons and open hand), self-defense should be our main focus. Sparring helps, however, when it comes to defending oneself on the street against one or more opponents, then reality based self defense becomes paramount.
The seminar therefore will involve and focus on defense against frontal and behind attacks without weapon, and defense against a knife and other dangerous weapons. Traditional blocks and not traditional blocks and strikes will be taught, however, the main focus of the seminar will be to teach the most effective approach to defending against various attacks.
