Sifu Smith has studied Martial arts since 1966, in disciplines such as Shoto-Kan Karate` & Korean art of Tae Kyon, earning his 4th degree black belt.  

Master Smith continued his Martial Arts journey in Southern style Chinese Kung fu in California under honor of studying under Grandmaster Ark Y. Wong where he learned the art of Five Animal & Five Family style Kung fu, Mok Gar and a Village form of Wing Chun as well as Tai Mantis Kung fu.

He later studied Northern Style Tien Shan Pai Kung fu under the Guidance & Linage of Grand Master Wily Lin & Master Brown.

As well as continuing his Southern kung fu with Master Ki Boi Young in (Fu-Hoc-Kuen) Tiger- Crane Style (Kung-Fu).

He later studied internal arts of Tai Chi Chuan in Traditional Yang, Sun, and Wu Styles.
