We are delighted to be back in the Keystone State and are dedicated to continue building on the groundwork we laid last year. We urge all the Chinese Martial Arts Community in Pennsylvania and surrounding states to get involved in the championship. Your support is welcomed and appreciated!

2011 "Steel City" Tournament Report

The "Steel City" Chinese Martial Arts Championship which was held on March 12, 2011 at the beautiful Grand Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh was a resounding success.

Nearly 300 competitors and a packed house of spectators descended on the Wyndham Grand in Downtown Pittsburgh for this Inaugural tournament. Competitors came from all surrounding states and from as far away as Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Florida.

We want to thank all the competitors, officials, VIPs, volunteers and spectators for helping make this event a success. Special thanks go out to all the parents for their support; we had over 100 kids participate in the tournament.

We want to recognize some of our Special Guests, Officials and Masters who helped make this event possible.

Special recognition and appreciation goes out to Sifu Chris Young and his team for the Lion Dance performance both for the Opening Ceremonies and for the Masters Demonstration.
