Grandmaster Chang Tung-sheng, the Legendary undefeated “Flying Buttefly” released the Poem of Shuai-chiao that was passed from his teacher.  The poem consisted of 30 characters which were presented in 6 rhymed stanzas.  These characters represent key principles and methods of the dynamic and exciting Shuai-chiao system that Grandmaster Chang inherited and brought to the modern age.

You practice Taijiquan for self-improvement. It is an introspective journey. However, when you compete or perform, people see you from the outside and use the outward appearance to judge what is going on inside of you.

Economy Of Motion
Friday 6:00 - 7:00pm

Shootfighting is a combination of Thai, kickboxing and total body submission grappling. And also incorporates the transitions from standup to ground and from ground to standup it was the original MMA. You can learn to do both at this seminar "economy of motion". You will learn hand striking to ground take downs and ground reversals to standup kicking. In a real situation you will be able to decide if the fight should go to the ground or remain standing up.


ISFA Teacher Certification Program
Sunday 9:00 - 10:00 am "Shootfighting submission from any position"

The instructors shootfighting seminar "submission from any position" will be a five hour course designed  to get you certified as an ISFA trainer. Each seminar will be one hour. You must attend five classes for certification.  Once you received your certification you will be able to help judge and referee our sport shootfighting events

  • Become a Versatile Fighter
  • Fight like a Kickboxer or a Grappler
  • Shootfighting teaches both and the transition to both
