Clara Marin

Clara Pino Marin is the owner of Divine Fist Kung Fu, in Miami, Florida, operating since 2003. The school is focused on Southern style Kung Fu. She also runs an after-school care program. She trained in Northern style Kung Fu and Tai Chi beginning in 1993, and 10 years later began practicing Southern style (Ke-Hsiao). Born and raised in Ecuador, she earned a Masters degree in accounting. She never expected to open her own business but now, 20 years later, through prosperous and difficult times, through her wisdom and guidance, the school is successful. Her favorite saying is “One hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of house you lived in, how much money you had, nor what your clothes were like. But the world may be a little better because you made a difference in the life of a child.”
