Don Dean

Shifu Don Dean has been studying the martial arts since 1989. In the mid-90s he was fortunate to meet and start training with Master Nick Scrima. Under Master Scrima he was able to train with many of the great masters of our time. In 2002 he opened the Saint Petersburg Chinese Martial Arts Center with the blessing of Master Scrima.

Shifu Dean has always had the desire to study the art of Bagua Zhang. In 2005 he had the opportunity to meet He Jinbao the lineage holder of the Yin Style Bagua Zhang system and is the study group leader for the state of Florida. Although Bagua is his passion he continues to teach the knowledge passed on to him by Master Scrima and, continues to be a student of the arts today.
