Javier Alvarez

Javier Alvarez is from Havana, Cuba, and began his martial arts training at the age of 12, first in Karate Do Joshinmon, then Shito Ryu, and Ju Jutsu. He continued his martial arts journey with Traditional Chinese Martial Arts: Kung Fu, Shaolin Quan, Taiji Quan, Qigong, Sanda, and Choy Lee Fut. He operates the Southern Warriors Kung Fu school in Miami, Florida. Alvarez is a founding member of the Cuban Association of Traditional Kung Fu & Sanda Tui Shou and the Cuban Association Choy Lee Fut & Luohan Gong.
