Kenneth Ho-Kwong Hui, is a Kung Fu Master of the Northern Shaolin Style with direct lineage to the Great Grandmaster Gu Ruzhang, famous for his Iron Palm techniques. Ken Hui’s teacher is Master Johnny So, disciple of Grandmaster Yim Seung Wu (Gu’s number one student). Sifu Hui was born in 1951 in Hong Kong and immigrated to the USA in 1966. Training since age 8, he has learned many Kung Fu styles including Hung Ga, Northern Praying Mantis, Taichi, Baqua, and Xingyi . Sifu Hui is the founder and chief instructor of the Northern Shaolim Kung Fu Association in Los Angeles and has trained many champions. He has received many honors and awards for his contributions to martial arts and to Chinese culture. He was also a successful aerospace engineer for more than 45 years until retirement, and had earned advanced degrees from Cal Poly, USC, and UCLA.
