Leung Shum

Leung Shum, the top student of Grandmaster Ng Wai Nung, operated the Hong Kong school of Eagle Claw from the 1950s until he came to the United States in 1971. He is one of the few instructors in the world qualified to teach the entire Ying Jow Pai system, including the famous 108 locking techniques of Ngok Fei. Leung Shum began Kung Fu training at age 8 and had practiced Northern Eagle Claw and Wu Style Taijiquan for more than 25 years before opening his school in New York City. He is the author of the first English-language writing on the Eagle Claw system.
